Two of South Africa’s top female singer songwriters return to the stage this November and December to perform together with their stunning tandem show ‘Side by Side’.
The blues infused vocal-rock of Josie Field (Best Female South African Music Award Nominee 2012) connects with the intimate folk, country styles of Laurie Levine (Best Produced Album ‘Six Winters’ South African Music Award Winner 2012) to create a unique and intimate musical experience featuring their hit singles as well as select covers.
A real treat for music lovers these performances are solely acoustic utilizing a variety of instruments including guitar, banjo, ukulele and more along with their unique vocal harmonies, as they present slightly different interpretations of their most popular songs, allowing both old and new fans to experience the material in a whole new light.
Debuting in March of 2013 with almost a dozen sold out dates the show wowed audiences and received critical praise.
