I am a little way in to my UK tour and I have already travelled many kilometers. London is my base at the moment. We travelled South to Bristol to perform at St Bonadventures Club, where some of my favourite artists have played- the likes of Justin Townes Earle, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Thea Gilmore etc  and yesterday we drove through Wales and played in Oswestry’s most famous and beautiful venue, The Ironworks. I am on the folk circuit route and loving it!

Some reviews of ‘Six Winters’ and of the tour have come in. Here is what people are saying:

UNCUT: 8/10: “Remarkable”

OBSERVER: “The heartache of a burnt- out love affair burns bright”

DAILY MIRROR: “Her songwriting insights and vocal delicacy will be warmly welcomed by those who like folk and country with an individual sparkle”.

THE BRISTOL POST: “This was Laurie Levine’s first show on her first ever UK tour but on the basis of this gig she will soon find herself headlining her own tour”.

WWW.NODEPRESSION.COM:  “There is a fragile warmth as the young singer wrings every emotion imaginable out of her song”.
